3rdValve Rock brings the energy of rock and jazz/rock fusion to your nightclub, party, company event or non-profit fundraiser with smokin' Rock & Roll ranging from classic covers of songs by artists like The Stones, Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Marshall Tucker, The Eagles, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Beatles, Chicago, BS&T, The Band, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Springsteen and more. This is an eleven piece band that keeps rockin' all night long: Drums, congas, bass, organ, piano, lead & rhythm guitars, three horns and a dedicated female lead. With this depth they handle it all: from lush, soulful ballads & blues to jazz/fusion and high energy rock & roll that raises the roof! (3rdValve is a project of ThirdValve Productions.)

3rdValve Jazz brings the cool and sophisticated sound of small group jazz to your party, nightclub or corporate event. This group performs jazz standards, ranging from the "west coast cool" style typified by artist such as Chet Baker, Paul Desmond and Jack Dejohnette, to bebop and hard-bop (think Lee Morgan), as well as latin jazz (Jobim, et. al.), swing, funk, blues and ballads. 3rdValve Jazz works as an instrumental trio, quartet, or quintent depending on needs. The full quintent includes piano, bass, drums, guitar and trumpet/flugel. Adding a vocalist is a perfect touch for nighclub/lounge venues.

Singer, guitarist and composer Denise Reis was born in Belo Horizonte, the capitol of the state of Minas Gerais in southeastern Brazil. Denise began studying guitar at age 10 and attended Julia Pardini’s Choral Association. Only four years later, she was invited to take part in a European tour (1986). As her musical career progressed, she found widespread acceptance and support from the Brazilian people and media. This early success was due to her distinctively beautiful singing and her diverse musicality and skill as a performer: Denise is a delight to hear and watch on stage. Her unique performance style includes a remarkable ability to imitate the sound of the trumpet using only her lips and voice! Denise is a performer of singular qualities and entertainment value.

The Erick Storckman Quartet: with Erick Storckman (trombone), Bob DeVos (guitar), Bill Morning (bass) and Steve Johns (drums). Erick Storckman was lead trombonist on the Grammy Nominated Latin Jazz Album "Marooned" by Papo Vazquez and performs with The Brooklyn Big Band. One of his two albums "Scrapbook", was chosen as a Jazz Times "Critic's Pick" in 2001. Erick is also known to Montclair NJ music lovers for his work with Diane Moser's Composers Big Band and The Richie Cecere Orchestra.
